RE: Looking for suppliers of rare stone Description
Just beginning work at 0500 in the morning, saw your notice, can reply more later, here just to let you know that I've been investigating the Finnish Stone (http://g603.net) industry (attended Rock Expert course 2 years ago) first as seminar work subsequently out of own interest. I have a pretty good idea as to what Stone (http://g603.net) s are available from Finland (http://maplered.com) and (http://maplered.com) where the Stone (http://g603.net) firms and (http://maplered.com) quarries are. I've been looking at the 67 types of Stone (http://g603.net) which occur in Pekka Mesimäki's 'Natural Stone Hand (http://maplered.com) book'.
Are you familiar with Finnish commercial Stone (http://g603.net) s? eg. do you consider as 'rare' such types as Moss Granite, Karelian Green, Baltic Mahogany, Vesanto Red, etc.?!
I'll contact again soonish (next week?), or you can to me -
Ross Turner Torpparinmäentie 32 G 54 00690 Helsinki Finland (http://maplered.com) tel: 358-9-7244765 cellphone: 358-40-5438127
I speak Finnish so if you ever are thinking of sending someone over to Finland (http://maplered.com) maybe I can help as a go-between?
